The sling table is a physiotherapy treatment device in which individual body sections are suspended against gravity via a frame with ropes, hooks and slings. This allows limbs or the trunk to be fully or partially supported.

In this relieved position, passive mobilisations, guided active movements and stabilisation exercises can be performed with little pain and minimal joint stress. Fields of application include orthopaedic and neurological conditions, for example after operations, with chronic pain or pronounced movement restrictions. The suspension is adapted individually to the indication and goal.
